Goonerholicsforever.com Predictathon!

We are starting a new campaign for the 2023-24 Premier League season, using a contest at goonerholicsforever.com.  If you have arrived at this page to donate your entry fee for the contest(s), you're in the right place!

Remember, it's £10 for the league position contest, and £5 in total for the first coach to get the tin tack, FA Cup winners and League Cup winners. Every entrant must join both parts of the contest to participate. So the total entry fee is £15.  If you are feeling generous, please consider donating above the amount required to participate in the contests.  Thank you!

As for our 1970-71 Double campaign...

Many Arsenal fans are of an age to remember our first League and FA Cup Double in 1970/71. For this 50th anniversary, Goonerholicsforever.com have produced two video conversations with Bob Wilson and Pat Rice, who were teammates in that double-winning squad.  We have also compiled reminiscences from Arsenal fans of that era who remember those events.  Both episodes of the conversation with Bob and Pat have been published on the Goonerholicsforever.com blog.

Additionally, Goonerholicsforever.com is running an auction of signed Arsenal memorabilia, with all proceeds going to support the Willow Foundation. If you end up with the highest closing bid for any lot, to qualify that as the winning bid requires you to donate that sum using this donation page.  If you'd like to bid on the auction please visit our Auction page for further information.

We hope to use all these celebratory events to raise a significant amount of money for Bob’s charity, the Willow Foundation.  Bob and his wife Megs set up Willow in 1999, in memory of their beloved daughter Anna.  Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.

Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 17,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease.

For some their Special Day is the opportunity to return some normality to their lives. For others it is the last chance to fulfil a dream. But for all, at what is the most difficult of times, a Special Day can lift spirits, reunify families and be a source of strength when it’s needed most.
